Jamshedpur, Feb 28: The vote counting for the municipal elections in Mango, Jugsalai and Chakulia was successfully concluded on Friday in a peaceful, orderly and transparent manner.
The entire counting process was carried out strictly in accordance with the guidelines and provisions laid down by the State Election Commission.
Elaborate arrangements were made at the counting centres to ensure security, transparency and maintenance of law and order.
Votes were counted in a phased and transparent manner in the presence of all contesting candidates and their authorized agents. Following the completion of counting, certificates were duly handed over to the elected candidates.
District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi expressed his sincere appreciation to all officials, staff members, police personnel, observers and supporting teams deputed for the counting process.
He stated that the coordinated efforts, dedication and discipline of all stakeholders ensured that the exercise was conducted smoothly, fairly and successfully.
He also extended his gratitude to the general public, candidates and media representatives for their cooperation in making the electoral process seamless and credible.
