Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Senior government officials of the East Singhbhum district have been directed by the deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav to carry out strict supervision of the various projects that have been sanctioned by the state and central government.
Jadhav has directed the government officials of various blocks in the district to inspect the progress and supervise every government scheme and project on Wednesdays. The officials have been asked to provide an inspection report to the deputy commissioner.
According to the orders issued by Jadhav in this regard, the sub-divisional officer has been asked to oversee government projects in Dhalbhum and Patamda, ADC (law and order) will oversee projects in Potka, DRDA director has been asked to keep an eye on Ghatsila projects, NEP director will supervise Dumaria projects and the district supply officer will supervise Golmuri and Jugsalai projects. District project officer has been allotted Boram, district transport officer has been allotted Musabani projects, SDO of Ghatsila has been asked to oversee projects in Chakulia, deputy collector of Dhalbhum is supervising Bahragora projects, the deputy election officer is incharge of Dhalbhumgarh projects while the district panchayati raj officer is supervising government projects in Gurabandha.
The government officials have been asked to oversee the handover of disability certificates to the handicapped, issuance of caste certificates to the students of 1 to 12 and analyze their results. Inspection of projects under Manerga, inspection of PM Awas and Amedkar Awas projects, inspection of the e-PDS system and public distribution system outlets, monitoring of rice distribution days every month. The officials have also been asked to inspect the State Food Corporation storehouses in blocks apart from other state and central government projects.
