Seraikela, May 30:  A review meeting of the district level Mining Task Force was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal in the auditorium located at the District Collectorate.

DC reviewed the compliance of the decision taken in the earlier meeting for the prevention of illegal sand, stone lifting, illegal mining, gave necessary directions regarding the ban on illegal mining, its lifting and transportation.

Deputy Commissioner said that illegal mining and transportation should not take place in any way in the works of Major and Minor Minerals. If anyone is found to be involved in the above work, then action should be ensured against the concerned person/institution under relevant sections. The Deputy Commissioner said that sub-division wise five check posts would be made to ensure action against illegal mining where magistrates and police force will be deployed in three shifts. The same check posts will be monitored through CCTV. The Deputy Commissioner said that the deputation of Special Forces would be done under the supervision of the Sub-Divisional Officer. So that on the information received in any way, the Circle Officer or the Sub-Divisional Officer himself can ensure that the area is inspected.

During this, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Transport Officer to conduct a special investigation (mining lawful or illegal) by checking the necessary parameters like challan, documents of the vehicles, loading capacity, drunk and drive, and taking strict action against the drivers and the people involved. gave instructions.

The Deputy Commissioner said that action will be ensured on vehicles doing illegal mining in any way. He should not only fine but also seize such vehicles. The Deputy Commissioner said that according to the order of the National Green Tribunal, mining in the monsoon season has been declared completely illegal. Due to which there is a possibility of people illegally stocking or lifting more sand at this time. Keeping this in mind, all the concerned officers will work by establishing mutual coordination. Apart from this, during the meeting, all the members of the task force were directed by the Deputy Commissioner that security is an important issue. In such a situation, whenever you all go to raid, go with a sufficient number of security forces so that any adverse situation can be easily dealt with.

The Superintendent of Police of the meeting, Anand Prakash directed the concerned officers that all should work as a team work to curb illegal mining, illegal transportation by vehicles by establishing mutual coordination, so that legal action can be taken with prompt and appropriate sections.
