Jamshedpur DC appeals to medical units to cooperate in war against COVID-19

Jamshedpur, July 24: The alarming rise of coronavirus positive cases in the district has prompted East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar to appeal to doctors and paramedical personnel, especially those pursuing private practices, to join hands with the district administration to curb the COVID-19 growth rate.

The district administration is bracing up for the challenges on a war footing including arranging for additional COVID Wards in hospitals, institution of COVID care centres, additional provisions for health checks at interstate and inter-district borders and other essential parameters for containing the dangerous coronavirus infection growth rate.

The Deputy Commissioner appealed to all paramedics and private medical practitioners to come forward and help out in dispensing free treatment to the virus infected patients. He said that the East Singhbhum district administration would remain grateful for their cooperation towards a humanitarian cause.
