Jamshedpur, August 7 : Parsudih police arrested Anup Chakraborty alias Anup Bengalo, resident of Bagbeda Lal Building and his partner Bhim Gagarai, resident of Parsudih Haludbani Kamayani Road.
Police have recovered a country-made loaded pistol, two magazines, four rounds of live bullets and a black Hero Splendor motorcycle without number plate from them. Police said that Parsudih police station had received a secret information that a criminal named Anup Chakraborty, a resident of Bagbeda, had been released from jail a few days back and was roaming in Haludbani on a motorcycle in the guise of one of his accomplices with the aim of killing his rival Domini.
In the light of above information, Parsudih police raided and arrested him with weapons, from where he was roaming in the area with Bhim Gagrai. He was arrested near Namotola Haludbani Durga Mandap.
Cases have been registered against him in Chandil Railway Station, Bagbera, Bistupur, Jugsalai, Sakchi, Bagbera, Chakulia Railway Station, RPF Post Anara, Burmamines, Gamharia Police Station area, Purulia and other areas.
