Jamshedpur, August 24: Parsudih police has arrested three people including husband and wife with 800 pouches of brown sugar.
The arrested accused include Mohammed Abid, his wife Ruhi Parveen and Zareen Khatoon. The cost of which is being said to be Rs 2 lakh.
Abid is convicted in the murder case. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment. He came out of jail on parole only last month. He was due to go back to jail on August 29. His wife Ruhi has also gone to jail in the past for selling drugs.
Giving this information on Wednesday, City SP Vijay Kumar said that a secret information was received that brown sugar was being sold in the area. On receiving information, a team was formed and raids were conducted.
Abid is accompanied by his three-year-old daughter whom his mother Roohi will keep in jail with her. He told that Abid has been jailed in cases like Arms Act and murder, at present everyone is being sent to jail.
