Jamshedpur, Jan 3: In view of the third wave of corona infection, the district administration is trying to restore the medical facilities as well as the facilities of isolation center and quarantine center at the earliest. On Monday, Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar inspected the Professional College and Women’s Hostel located at Sidgora and gave necessary directions to the JNAC officer for setting up an isolation center. Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum Sandeep Kumar Meena, Vaccination Cell’s Nodal cum District Supply Officer Rajiv Ranjan and District Transport Officer Dinesh Ranjan were present on the occasion. In the course of the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner directed the JNAC officer to restore the necessary facilities in the isolation center so that it can be operated smoothly in view of the increasing number of corona infected. He said that out of the quarantine and isolation centers set up during the second wave of corona infection, TMH’s GT Hostel, Professional Flat in Kadma, Nepal Building, Dealers Hostel Telco and two isolation centers at Bagbera would be started soon. Along with this, a 50-bed isolation center is being built in all the blocks, which will be completed by January 5. In these patients will be kept who do not have any symptoms of corona or who do not need as much care after recovering from infection.
The Deputy Commissioner said that taking lessons from the past experiences, these isolation and quarantine centers would also be used for post-Covid patients so that continuous supervision of the patients could be done. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also appealed to all the people of the district to cooperate with the district administration in keeping each and every citizen of the district safe from corona infection, do not go to parks, tourist places or crowded places and must get vaccinations as well as covid protocol.
