Jamshedpur, July 4: The COVID-19 cases are rising every day in Jamshedpur.
On Monday, six new cases have come up four different locations of the city. Two cases each were reported from Bistupur and Chakulia and one each from Baridih and Kadma.
159 samples were tested on Monday of which 6 came out positive.
Three positive cases came up against 65 RTPCR test. Of the 80 RAT samples tested 3 was found positive.
The Coronavirus tally in Jamshedpur has risen to 69944.
With six fresh recoveries on Monday, a total number of 68737 patients have been discharged since the breakout while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 73.
Recovery rate is 98.28% while mortality rate is 1.62 %.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 910551 tests per million in the district.
So far in Jamshedpur 2424219 samples have been collected out of which 2423888 have been tested and 2353944 have turned out to be negative.
