Jamshedpur, Mar 22: The court of First Class Additional Session Judge in Jamshedpur Civil Court Radha Krishna on Monday acquitted Amlesh Singh, Shailendra Singh, Shailesh Singh, Maninder Nishad and other in cases of Arms Act, intimation, and attempt to murder.
A total of four persons had given witness in the case. Advocate Ranjandhari Singh argued for the accused Amlesh Singh.
A cases was lodged against the four on March 27, 2007 by Blue Scope company employee Krishna Rao and the case lingered in the court for 14 years and all the four were accused of seeking extortion and firing.
Siignificantly, Amlesh Singh is the brother of jailed gangster Akhilesh Singh who is currently lodged in Dumka jail.
Amlesh Singh has more than a dozen cases lodged against him and he has been convicted in the Ashish De murder case but he managed to get a bail from Supreme Court. Amlesh Singh was nabbed by police from Bhubaneshwar in Odisha in 2017 and got released from jail in 2018.
