Jamshedpur :Â Following the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Executive Officer Jugsalai Municipality, Jagdish Prasad Yadav today inspected several medical shops to curb blackmarketing of medicines. During the inspection the team went to Hindustan Medical Store at Station Road Jugsalai, Manka Medical Store Station Road and Shri Ram Medical Store.

During inspection, information was sought about the stock of all the essential medicines used in the use of infection of Covid-19 and receipt of medicines related to the shopkeepers was demanded. The executive officer went to the drugstores and got information about all the medicines used in Covid-19 and selling them in excess of the prescribed rate, as well as the sale of oximeters and many other medicines at a reasonable rate. Inquiries are also being made on whether more are being sold or are being sold at fixed rates.
The bill for sale of medicines related to Covid-19 from many shops has been kept in the office for investigation, necessary action will be taken for investigation. The Executive Officer said that in no case should there be black marketing of drugs and sales should be done at a reasonable price. In the light of the instructions given by Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum, the Executive Officer said that by conducting an investigation campaign in the drugstores every day, the report will be submitted by 5 pm in the evening.
