Jamshedpur, June 1: Jamshedpur registered more recoveries than fresh Covid-19 cases on Tuesday when 113 new cases were detected and 251 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, according to the health bulletin. The recovery rate has climbed to 96 % while the active cases have come down to 1083.
Jamshedpur continues to witness dip in the daily Covid-19 cases.
Jamshedpur recorded 113 positive cases while 251 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday pushing the recovery mark to 48136 while the active cases have come below 1100 mark.
Deaths due to the virus continue to be sign of worry as 3 people succumbed due to Covid on Tuesday, June 1, East Singhbhum Covid bulletin said.
During this period, a total of 5309 Covid
tests were conducted in Jamshedpur.
City reported 3 deaths on Tuesday while district’s positive cases tally has mounted to 50244. According to the data provided by the East Singhbhum district health department on Tuesday 3 fatalities were due to the Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours. The death toll has climbed to 1025.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 347669 test per million in the district. Mango locality of Steel City reported maximum of 14 cases Covid on Tuesday.
As per the records of health department out of 5309 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 113 were found positive.
As many as 48136 people have recovered from COVID-19 so far with 251 recoveries recorded in the last 24-hours. Over 5200 COVID-19 tests, including 956 RT-PCR and 4033 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96 % while the mortality rate is 2.04%.
