Jamshedpur Cooperative Law College students stage dharna for promotion

Jamshedpur, Feb 20: Third Semester students (Batch 2020-23) of Jamshedpur Cooperative Law College staged demonstration at the campus on Monday in support of their demand for promotion to fourth semester.

The agitating students said they would continue the agitation till their demand for promotion was fulfilled. They said the students of two batches (2018-21 and 2019-22) were earlier promoted in a similar manner.

The students said they had been promoted to the second and third semesters earlier.

Meanwhile, Kolhan University has issued the exam schedule of fourth semester LLB exams on 18th February last. The exams will start on 17th March and continue till 13th April.

The agitating students had met the Vice Chancellor of KU, Dr Gangadhar Panda, on 6th February last and demanded promotion. They said the VC had asked them to give him an application through the Principal of the law college Dr Jitendra Kumar.
