Jamshedpur Congress sends request to Priyanka Gandhi and Captain Amrinder for campaigning

Jamshedpur, Nov. 21 : In view of ensuing Assembly polls, political parties are busy planning concerted campaign to woo voters.  The BJP has taken the lead over most of the other political parties roping in senior party leaders like PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to address the people.The party has adopted an intensive campaign strategy� get down to even the smallest residential societies to strike the right communal cord.

�We have decided to send party leaders to areas where they have close relation with the voters. Voters of a particular community will come to listen if a leader belonging to their own community is addressing,� said a BJP leader.

The Congress is planning to rope in some campaigners like Priyanka Gandhi and Captain Amrinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab to add attraction in the Assembly elections in East Singhbhum district. Sources informed that the East Singhbhum district Congress has sent a list of campaigners to party headquarters to ensure that the star campaigners are included in the itinerary. 

The party has fielded former MLA Banna Gupta from Jamshedpur West and its national spokesperson Prof GouravVallabh from Jamshedpur East. 

District Congress president BijayKhan said that party wants to woo all section of voters this is the prime reason why the list of campaigners have an equal mix of glamour and political names.  

“The presence of a star at an election meeting, inevitably draws crowds. Someone like Nagmacan guarantee massive crowds, especially women, in rural areas. Hence, most of the parties rope in stars to attract more and more people,� said an election analyst.

Meanwhile the other political parties like Jharkhand MuktiMorcha are preparing to counter the cinema glamour by relying on their senior political leaders in their campaign.

 �Shibu Soren is a mass leader of our State. He will campaign here to instill confidence among party workers and voters. We have full faith on his leadership. People trust him for his honest and dedication. He will attract voters like always,� said Rorya Soren, a senior functionary of JVM.

On the other hand AJSU candidate Ramchandra Sais said that Sudeshjee is the real campaigner for the State. Every time people in large numbers look forward to hear him during the public meetings. This time too he is campaigning in the district.

Meanwhile, concerned over lack of star campaigners in the party, the activists of Jharkhand VikasMoracha( JVM) are pinning hopes on the visit of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and the founder leader Babulal Marandi.

�We do not rely on the star campaigners, Babulalji is a charismatic leader of our State, his visit is going to instill confidence among party workers and voters. He is the real star campaigner and will campaign for party candidates and spread the vision of party among the voters,� said Abhay Singh, a senior functionary of JVM and candidate from Jamshedpur East.
