Jamshedpur, Dec 18: Congress District President Anand Bihari Dubey led a huge procession from Dimna Chowk via Mango Chowk to Mango Gandhi Maidan in support of the party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra while displaying the party’s strength. The Congress Yatra was organized in Jamshedpur on Sunday, December 18.
The Yatra led by the party’s District President Anand Bihari Dubey included Congress State President Rajesh Thakur, former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, former MP Dr Ajoy Kumar, Health and Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta, District Executive President Dharmendra Sonkar and State Youth Congress General Secretary Rakesh Sahu along with several other leaders and party workers who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra congregated at the Mango Gandhi Maidan where a meeting was held.
In the meeting, a pledge was taken to ensure that party senior leader Rahul Gandhi was made India’s Prime Minister in the next Lok Sabha elections. Congress leaders said that Rahul Gandhi had been on the Bharat Jodo Yatra since many months. They said that it was the responsibility of every Congress member to take the message of Rahul Gandhi to the masses. They said that, that was the main reason of organizing the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jamshedpur so that Rahul Gandhi’s message could be reached out to people far and wide.
