Jamshedpur, July 15: Amid continued monsoon rains, residents of Jugsalai are facing a major crisis—lack of clean drinking water. In response, the District Congress Committee staged a protest and submitted a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday, calling for immediate resolution of the problem.

Congress leaders claimed that despite multiple complaints, dirty water continued to flow through household taps, putting public health at risk. Executive District President Dharmendra Sonkar alleged that while the state government was trying to improve services, apathetic officials were failing the people of Jugsalai.

He urged the administration to act swiftly and ensure access to safe drinking water. Others who participated in the protest included  Bablu Jha, Rajendra Jha, Khurshid Alam, Aamir Khan, MD Nawab, Parvez Akhtar, Ghulam Ali Javed, Jamal Raju Gaddi, and many others.
