Jamshedpur: A high-level delegation led by Anand Bihari Dubey, President of the East Singhbhum District Congress Committee, along with senior leaders and citizens, met Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi on Tuesday and submitted a memorandum highlighting pressing civic concerns. The DC took immediate cognizance and assured early redressal.
The memorandum raised three major issues namely: 1. Drainage in Mango Municipal Area: Demand for construction of an RCC drain (5’ wide, 6’ deep, 1000 meters long) from Parmeshwar Colony, Pardih, to Ajwa Building Main Road via Gulabbag and Gwala Basti. The absence of a proper drain caused flooding during rains, disrupting movement of residents. 2. Water Supply in Jugsalai: Residents of Safiganj Mohalla were not receiving water supply. Immediate pipeline laying was requested to ensure households got adequate water. 3. Unauthorized hoarding at Sakchi: A hoarding installed near Tagore Academy School was allegedly enabling anti-social elements to enter Tagore Society. The Congress demanded its immediate removal.
Addressing the press, Dubey reiterated the Congress Party’s commitment to addressing even minor issues of public interest. He assured that the party would consistently raise concerns before officials through proper memoranda and work toward viable solutions.
This initiative reflected the party’s pledge to ensure that public grievances were promptly addressed and essential civic amenities restored.
