Jamshedpur Congress condemns attack on Dr Ajoy, writes to Home Minister

Jamshedpur, Jan 20: Members of East Singhbhum District Congress Committee condemned the incident of assault on former Jamshedpur MP and AICC member Dr Ajoy Kumar in Tripura. They handed over a memorandum addressed to Election Commission of India and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) here on Friday. In the memorandum, the Congress leaders demanded transfer of government officials of Tripura for failing to prevent the incident. District Congress president Anand Bihari Dubey said Dr Ajoy was attacked in the presence of a minister, local MLA and IG of police.
