Jamshedpur collects 100 units of plasma

Jamshedpur, Oct. 1: It is a matter of great satisfaction that Jamshedpur has once again made headlines as 100 units of Plasma have been collected. With today�s two plasma donation, the total number of plasma donation reached 100.� More and more people who recovered from COVID-19 recently are coming forward to donate plasma.�

Two doctors who recovered from the virus donated plasma on September 30 and so far 10 doctors have donated their plasma.

Expressing gratitude to the plasma donors, Smita Nagesia, Dy Collector and Protocol Officer, Plasma Donation, East Singhbhum, has appealed to all who fought this deadly virus successfully to come forward and donate plasma so that severely ill patients who are struck with the virus could be administered plasma.  Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary of the East Singhbhum Chapter, Indian Red Cross Society, has thanked all the plasma donors and also the staff of the Jamshedpur Blood Bank for plasma donation efforts.
