Jamshedpur, March 28: Chief Minister Hemant Soren felicitated state toppers of JAC, CBSE and CISCE board during an award ceremony organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy at Ranchi on Monday, March 28.
Under the scheme, the top three rank holders of board examinations of Class 10 and Class 12 are given cash rewards up to Rs 3 lakh, a laptop and a mobile phone.
Vaishnavi Agarwal of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) bagged the third position in the state in Class 12 Commerce stream. She received Rs 1 lakh cash prize along with a laptop and a mobile phone.

Vaishnavi along with 20 others students from Jamshedpur were awarded.
NHES Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhary congratulated Vaishnavi for her excellent achievement and wished her luck for future academic endevours.
A total of 130 rank holders of exams conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and toppers of Jharkhand Olympiad were rewarded on the occasion.
A chief Minister should encourage education. This speaks why children of this state do well in all competitive exams.
