Jamshedpur, May 22: The scorching heat and relentless sun have left the people of Jharkhand, including Jamshedpur, in distress. On Sunday, the highest maximum temperature recorded in the month of May was 44.2 degree Celsius, a phenomenon not seen in the past seven years. However, there was a slight respite in temperatures on Monday. The highest temperature recorded in Jamshedpur on Monday (May 22) was 43.5 degree Celsius temperature
The Meteorological Department has predicted continuous hot winds in several parts of the district, with temperatures possibly exceeding 45 degrees. From Tuesday onwards, there is expected to be a marginal decrease of two to three degrees Celsius. Given the weather conditions, people have been advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Additionally, the minimum temperature recorded in Jamshedpur on Monday was 27.2 degrees Celsius.
