Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is feeding data related to Chhath ghats across the city on the Google Map. Out of the 35 odd Chhath ghats, 20 prominent venues are being linked Google Map. The special officer of JNAC Sanjay Kumar said the linking of ghats to the Google Map is being done with the view to enable devotees to find the nearest Chhath ghats. By typing Chhath Ghat on the Google Map, smart phone users will be able to locate the venue of Chhath puja. All such venues have been categorized as religious destinations on the Google Map, he said, adding that the destination profile of all Chhath ghats will be visible on Google Map by 19th October. The training coordinator of JNAC Jyotipunj Pandey has been entrusted with the task of linking the ghats to Google Map, he said.
