Women chartered accountants to make debut
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Chartered Accountants Society (JCAS) is set to organize two-day JCAPL 2025 cricket tournament for city-based chartered accountants on February 8 and 9 at Tube Makers Club, Telco. Kuldeep Sons Jewelers is the title sponsor of the event, while the tournament is powered by Tristar Motors.
Around 100 chartered accountants will participate in the tournament, which will feature six men’s teams and two women’s teams. For the first time, women chartered accountants will also compete on the cricket field, adding excitement to the event.
The participating teams are Dalma Dynamites, Dimna Dukes, Jamshedpur Jubilants, Kalimati Raja, Steel Smashers, Tata Titans, Jubilee Queens (women’s team), and Jamshedpur Divas (women’s team).
Sharing details at a press conference on Wednesday, convener CA Sugam Saraiwala and media in-charge CA Ravi Gupta said the event aims to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among the city’s CAs. CA Ramakant Gupta, CA Anil Agarwal, CA Daya Shankar, CA Dheeraj Kumar, and CA Rakesh Roshan Jha were also present on the occasion.
