Jamshedpur: A delegation of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce led by Alok Choudhary met East Singhbhum Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari on Friday and handed him a memorandum addressed to Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das and the state Transport Secretary.
The outfit members opposed hike in road tax. They were accompanied by members of Jamshedpur Bus Owners Welfare Association who said their business was adversely affected as now they had to pay more as road tax. Despite paying tax, the condition of roads is not good at all, they said.
Those present on the occasion included Mohan Lal Agrawal, Akash Shah, Shankar Mittal, Uday and Kunal Kishore.
