Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce delegation meets SSP, demands traders� security

Jamshedpur, Sept 8: A delegation of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce (JCC) led by patrons Harvinder Singh Mantu and Mohanlal Agrawal met SSP East Singhbhum at his office and demanded protection of traders in view of a recent incident of September 6 when a Jugsalai trader was roughed up over an altercation regarding contribution of donation for a puja.  The delegation stated that after the incident city traders were aggrieved.

The JCC delegation that met the SSP contended that the Durga Puja and other festivals were on the anvil and as such the administration should ensure adequate protection for traders so that the incident of September 6 was not repeated. The delegates stated that the traders had always cooperated during festive times and donated to various organizations. This year there would be difference.

The SSP assured the JCC delegation that every aspect pointed out would be paid close attention and appropriate steps taken. The JCC delegation comprised secretary Akash Shah, Shankar Mittal, Brijesh Sonekar, Arun Chowdhary, Dharikshan Prasad Gupta and others.
