Jamshedpur: Chain snatched from two women 

Jamshedpur, August 28: Criminals have carried out the incident of snatching with two women at two difference places.

Chain snatching took place from a woman in Sidhgora. The incident of snatching happened with Pooja Mishra, wife of Omprakash Mishra, a resident of Sindhu Road No. 10 Basti of Sidhgoda police station area of Jamshedpur. She was coming home from her office at 8.30 pm on 27th August. Meanwhile, suddenly an unknown person came on a motorcycle near Sidhgora Road No. 18 and ran away by pulling the chain from his neck.

After snatching the chain, the criminals fled towards the main road. The woman has informed the police station about this in writing, in which it has been said that she made a lot of noise but to no avail. After that she came home. After talking to the family members, she gave the FIR in writing the next day. The police is investigating the matter.

A gold chain was snatched from the neck of a woman returning from worship in Sonari. An incident took place in Sonari police station area. Thieves snatched a gold chain from the neck of a woman who was returning after worshiping Lord Shiva near the Sonari water tank. The said woman is Lakshmi, a resident of Kagalnagar Colony Road No. 1, House No. 5, who had gone to offer water to Lord Shiva at some distance from her house.

While returning from there, a thief wearing a helmet came and snatched the gold chain from his neck and ran away. The said woman has not lodged a complaint with police.
