Jamshedpur, Nov 24: In a surprising move, Central Gurudwawra Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) Pradhan and rape accused, Gurmukh Singh Mukhe, reportedly purchased the nomination form for the upcoming CGPC elections, sources said.
Sources said two of the five member CGPC election committee reportedly gave the nomination form to Mukhe’s nephew after taking a fee of Rs 3100. The last date for nomination is 26th November. Several members opposed the sale of form to the rape accused Pradhan.
Mukhe is on the run ever since a woman from Kadma accused him of having raped her multiple times and also issuing criminal threats to her.
Bhagwan Singh, a prominent contestant for the CGPC Prdhan post, also purchased the nomination form. He reached Sakchi Gurudwara with his supporters on Thursday. Several people have purchased the nomination form so far, sources said.
