Jamshedpur: The city witnessed a vibrant and joyous celebration of Janmashtami as devotees flocked to several temples across the city to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. The city was alive with devotion, colour, and festive spirit as temples and homes alike were adorned with elaborate decorations to mark this auspicious occasion. Temples at Refugee Colony, Sakchi, Bistupur, Jugsalai, Kadma were decked up for the occasion.

Temples across Jamshedpur were transformed into scenes of divine beauty, with colourful streamers and dazzling lights that illuminated the sanctuaries. As night fell, these decorations came to life, casting a radiant glow over the festivities. A grand tableau depicting scenes from the life of Lord Krishna was prepared in many temples, drawing crowds eager to witness the artistry and devotion on display.

The idols of Lord Krishna and Radha were adorned in exquisite new clothes and lavishly decorated with flowers, creating a divine spectacle that enchanted the devotees. The grand celebrations in Jamshedpur’s temples, such as the ISKCON Temple, Beldih Kalibari, and several other local shrines, drew thousands of devotees from all walks of life. The temple management ensured that the festivities were conducted smoothly, with adequate arrangements for crowd control, security, and hygiene in place.
