Jamshedpur: CAT exam on Nov 26, centre to be set up in four Jharkhand cities

Jamshedpur, Nov 17: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 exam will be held on November 26. This year, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is conducting the CAT exam. Candidates can appear for the Mock test on the official CAT website to familiarize themselves with the exam format. For candidates in Jharkhand, examination centers have been set up in four cities: Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Bokaro. It is crucial for candidates to download their admit cards from the provided link.

The CAT exam will be conducted in online mode. CAT is an aptitude test and the syllabus of CAT consists of data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), quantitative ability (QA) and verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC).

A well-defined study plan, regularly assessing progress, focusing on the strengths, time management can help candidates achieve the desired score.

The total number of questions is set at 120, with 40 minutes allocated for each section.

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be permitted entry. 3 marks awarded for each correct answer and negative 1 mark for every incorrect response. All questions are optional.
