Jamshedpur: Cash and valuables worth Rs 15 lakh stolen in Kasidih

Jamshedpur, Feb 28: Thieves stole away cash and valuables worth a total of Rs 15 lakh from Hindware Service Centre in New Kasidih, Road Number 2, under Sakchi police station area in the wee hours of Monday, sources said.

The centre proprietor Ankit Prasad Khatri, resident of Road No 7, Kasidih, came to know about the incident in the morning. An FIR has been lodged in this connection, sources said.

DSP CCR Animesh Gupta reached the crime scene and investigated the case.

Sources said the thieves laid their hands on cash worth Rs 3 lakh along with many electronic gadgets, household items and other valuables.

Police recovered knife, hammer, master keys and chisel from inside the shop. They said an investigation was underway to nab the culprits.
