Jamshedpur: Case against middleman for fleecing money in police name

Jamshedpur, July 11: An FIR has been lodged on Monday against Chandramouli Mishra, the middleman who extorted money for the suspended SHO Prabhat Kumar of Birsanagar.

This FIR has been registered on the instructions of SSP Prabhat Kumar. The FIR has been registered on the application of Akhilesh Kumar alias Chhotu, a resident of Birsanagar zone number eight.

Akhilesh said that the police had arrested his brother Amritesh Kumar alias Anshu on June 17 on the charge of gas cutting. Many other people were also caught along with him.

Rs 50,000 was taken from Akhilesh for his release from police custody he alleged.

Akhilesh told that he had sent this money to Chandramouli Mishra twice through phone pay. In the first time a transaction of Rs 27 thousand 300 was done. After this, 22 thousand 700 rupees were sent. Akhilesh has also shown the proof of sending the money to the police. Akhilesh told that the station in-charge took one and a half lakh rupees to release everyone and then asked to talk to Chandramouli.

After that the station in-charge released everyone. The SSP has come to know that with the connivance of the former station in-charge, many land mafia were also selling government land in Birsanagar. A list is being prepared as to which land mafias were selling the land after occupying it.
