Jamshedpur Carnival curtains to rise with ‘Colours of India’, Indian Ocean to perform today

‘Know Your Army’ to thrill visitors

Jamshedpur:  Jamshedpur Carnival 2024, a three-day celebration will captivate audiences from January 12th to 14th at the Gopal Maidan, Bistupur. Entry is absolutely free for all citizens.

Organised jointly by Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, Jamshedpur Carnival will feature a mesmerizing song and dance presentation titled “Medley of Colours of India” on Friday, January 12.

The Carnival will be inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhry, VP, Corporate Services, Tata Steel followed by a spectacular cold pyro show on January 12. Celebrity Rock Band Indian Ocean will perform on day 1 of the carnival.

In line with the “Know Your Army” initiative and to foster civil-military integration in Steel City Jamshedpur, a weapons and equipment display will be organized during the carnival.

The Indian Army will showcase new generation weapons and equipment, aiming to familiarize the civil population with the enhanced capabilities of the Indian Army and promote civil-military fusion.

On the second day, January 13th, the carnival will resonate with melodious tunes from Sa Re Ga Ma. Joining the lineup is Ishaan Dutta, a celebrated singer from Jamshedpur, whose soul-stirring voice will infuse a local flavor into the evening’s musical brilliance.

The carnival will culminate on January 14th with a delectable Master Chef event followed by a captivating performance by Bollywood’s singing sensation, Abhijeet Bhattacharya. Attendees can expect a sensory feast as culinary artistry meets musical prowess.
