Jamshedpur braced up to deal with terrorists during Durgotsav

Jamshedpur: The district is all braced up to deal with terrorists especially during the Durgotsav celebrations. The city is said to be a safe haven for terrorists and outlawed political elements. As such, the district administration and police have beefed up the security cover.

ATS teams will be present during the Durga Puja celebrations.
The police have issued precautionary instructions especially for the festive period. Among others, people have been asked to notify the police on sighting any unclaimed objects in and around Puja Pandals.
Special Branch will deploy personnel in plain clothes at various places. They will report to their headquarters from where the district police will be instructed on the modus of action
