Jamshedpur boy dies in road accident near Agrico, driver held

Jamshedpur, Jan 5: A youth, identified as Sachdev Senapati, was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Agrico traffic square on Thursday. The incident resulted in a road jam for several hours.

Sources said the mishap occurred when the victim was on his way from Agrico to Litti Chowk on a scooty. On reaching the traffic square, his scooty came under the speeding truck. The victim died at the scene after his head came under the truck’s wheels.

Irked over the incident, local residents caught the truck driver and thrashed him. The driver was handed over to police.
