Jamshedpur: The BJP workers of Jamshedpur East Assembly held their annual New Year gathering and picnic amid the scenic valleys of Dimna on Sunday. Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, MLA Purnima Sahu, and several senior leaders attended the event, which saw participation from around 5,000 workers enjoying vegetarian delicacies.

Booth-level arrangements included separate stalls for each ward, where building in-charges, booth presidents, and committee members actively participated. The event featured cultural performances, music, entertainment, and sports activities, including cricket, badminton, and spinning top games, in which Raghubar Das joined with enthusiasm. Children and women also took part in various competitions, with winners receiving attractive prizes.

Speaking at the event, Raghubar Das said, “BJP is not just a political party; it is a family where every worker is connected like kin. Events like this energize the organization and provide a chance for direct interaction with members.” MLA Purnima Sahu added, “Our workers are our greatest strength. Their dedication and discipline strengthen BJP and inspire us to serve the public with renewed commitment.”
Senior leaders Pawan Agarwal, Sushant Panda, and Tun Tun Singh were honored for their role in organizing the successful event, which concluded with high spirits and camaraderie among all participants.
