Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP will be sending one lakh thank you letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). It will also launch a massive public awareness campaign to remove misunderstanding on CAA and scotch rumours being spread by various political parties led by Congress and its allies, said district BJP president Dinesh Kumar.
The BJP district president said all party workers have been directed to reach out to the people and target at least 50 houses for spreading awareness on CAA. He said the CAA supporters should give a missed call on the toll free number 8866288662 to thank PM for CAA.
In view of the said plan, BJP leaders convened a meeting on Saturday. Many party leaders were present on this occasion.
Among those present at the meeting included Chitranjan Verma, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Vimalkant Jha, Sandeep Mishra, Anil Modi, Ankit Anand, Amarjeet Singh Raja and Deepak Parikh.
