Jamshedpur BJP protest against security breach of PM Modi at Punjab

Jamshedpur, Jan 6: BJP has become agitated over the security lapse during visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Punjab. 

On Thursday, under the aegis of BJYM Jamshedpur city unit, workers took out a mass procession cum public protest march from Sakchi district office to the Main Roundabout and registered a protest against the Congress government of Punjab.

During this, many leaders including BJP’s national vice president cum former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, MP Bidyut Varan Mahato, BJP  city unit president Gunjan Yadav, BJYM district president Amit Agarwal attended. From the district office to the Sakchi roundabout, BJP workers raised slogans against Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and the Congress party. During the Janakrosh march, the workers protested against the Congress party with placards with slogans in their hands.

On this occasion,  Raghuvar Das gave a strong reaction to the negligence in the security of PM Modi and said that what happened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab is the first time in Indian history. Where a post like Prime Minister was directly targeted. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was stopped from going to the venue. He said that the government machinery was never misused so brazenly as the Congress government in Punjab did.

He said that the Punjab government will also have to explain how the confidential information about the route of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s venue reached the protesters. Along with this, how did such a gathering of protesters take place on the route fixed by the Prime Minister. Why no action was taken by the Punjab Police to clear the protesters? He also questioned the person who gathered the crowd through loudspeakers and termed a serious conspiracy to stop PM Modi’s convoy in this way at a distance of just 10 km adjacent to Pakistan. He demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter.

At the same time, MP Vidyut Varan Mahto also targeted the Punjab government and said that the Congress party is doing politics of hatred against the popular Prime Minister of the country. The police administration of Punjab, at the behest of the Congress government, posed a serious threat to the Prime Minister’s convoy en route, forcing the Prime Minister to return without attending any event. This incident is an example of bad politics. Strict action should be taken after investigating this incident.
