Jamshedpur BJP leader demands waste disposal facility

Jamshedpur, Feb 16: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP general secretary Anil Modi has demanded a permanent waste disposal facility in Jugsalai. In a request to the East Singhbhum district administration, he said the waste collected from Jugsalai is dumped beside Shiv Ghat which releases harmful smoke after being burnt by mischief-mongers. “A mound of garbage can be seen near Shiv Ghat in Jugsalai. It often keeps burning and polluting the environment. This has made it difficult for the residents of Jugsalai and Bagbera to breathe and live in a safe environment. There is no facility to douse the fire. This is spreading diseases in the local population. I request the district administration to stop the fire and make fire safety arrangements. A waste disposal facility should also be set up in Jugsalai,” said Modi.
