Party to observe Seva Saptah to celebrate PM Modi�s birthday

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP will organize a Kavi Sammelan to pay tributes to former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 16th September. The day chosen marks one month of Vajpayee�s demise. The programme, christened �Kavyanjali�, is an effort to pay a poetic tribute to the former PM who was also a popular and renowned poet besides being an excellent statesman, said Dinesh Kumar, president of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP.

Kumar said Kavyanjali would be organized in all assembly constituencies of East Singhbhum and other districts of the state. A meeting of district BJP�s core committees was held on Tuesday to chalk out plans to make the upcoming programme successful. Kavyanjali would be held in Golmuri and Bistupur.

The BJP leaders also decided to observe Seva Diwas (service day) on 17th September to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this day, BJP workers of Jamshedpur East constituency would distribute fruits among the inmates of Burmamines Kushthashram. Party workers of Jamshedpur West constituency would provide lunch to the inmates of Ashirwad Bhavan old age home in Baradwari.

A free health check-up camp would be held in Zone Number 7 of Birsanagar on 19th September. A programme would be held in Mango. From 21st September to 24th September, a swachhata campaign would be launched in all Mandal units of BJP in the city. On 25th September, the birth anniversary of Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya would be celebrated in a grand manner.

Among those present at today�s meet included Rambabu Tiwary, Sanjeev Singh, Pawan Agrawal, Harendra Pandey, Mukul Mishra, Khemlal Choudhary and Nandjee Prasad.
