Jamshedpur, August 18: Social organization ‘Jay Mahakaal Seva Sangh’ will organize a grand evening of devotional songs, Bhajan Sandhya devoted to Lord Shiva at the Mango Gandhi Maidan on Monday, August 21 in celebration of the holy month of Sawan.

The event will feature renowned Bhajan singer who rendered the highly popular ‘Ye Bhagwa Rang,’ Shahnaz Akhtar along with Sunil Chhaila Bihari and Devi who are known for their melodiously captivating renditions. The organizers claimed that the Bhajan singers would take the Baba Bholenath devotees in their captivating spell with their Bhajan renditions in ode to the deity.

The main attraction of the event would be the 30 feet high idol of Adi Yogi and an ice sculpted Baba Barfani.

The Bhajan Sandhya will be held between 6 and 10 pm on Monday, August 21 at the Gandhi Maidan in Mango. Preparations for the big event are almost complete.

Preceding the event of August 21, The Rudrabhishek of Baba will be performed and consecrated food distributed at the Mangal Bada Hanuman Temple on August 20, a day before the event.

In a press conference held at a hotel in Sakchi on Friday, Niraj Singh, the chief coordinator of the organization, provided detailed information on the arrangements at the venue. He mentioned that ‘Jai Mahakaal Sangh,’ the organizers, had erected a 400-foot-long waterproof pandal to accommodate around 5000 people. Two LED screens of 40 sq feet each had been been placed in the pandal and another at the centre to ensure hassle-free viewing by the congregation of devotees. CCTV cameras were also being installed to enhance security.

Present at the press conference were Nityanand Sinha, President of the organization, Vinod Rai, Co-coordinator of the event, Ashok Singh Chauhan, Security Head, Ganga Sahu, Dashrath Chaube, Amar Singh, Amarendra Paswan, and others.”
