Jamshedpur, Oct 25: State Health Minister and MLA of Jamshedpur West Banna Gupta Tuesday visited the house of the former Shardamoni Girls High School student, Ritu Mukhi, who died after self-immolation over alleged humiliation by one of her teachers. He condoled Ritu’s demise and sympathized with the aggrieved family. He said the kin of the deceased girl would be helped by the state government in every possible manner. He condemned the alleged humiliation of the minor by her teacher and said prosecution proceedings against the accused were underway. He further assured to provide a job through outsourcing to the brother of the deceased. He said he would discuss the issue with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and arrange for some immediate help for the family.
