Jamshedpur Banks to remain closed for three days on Holi

Jamshedpur: Holi, one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals, will result in a three-day bank holiday in many states. According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) holiday calendar, banks will remain closed on March 13, 14, and 15 in different states, impacting banking services.

The festival is celebrated on a grand scale in North India, leading to bank closures in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, and Uttarakhand. However, digital banking services, including net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATMs, will continue to function. Customers are advised to withdraw cash or complete essential banking transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience. Utilizing digital banking services can help in managing financial activities smoothly during the holidays.
