Jamshedpur: Artist Saurabh’s painting of Christ attracts appreciation

Seraikela, Dec 24:  Artist Saurabh Pramanik, resident of Chainpur village in Chandil block, is known for his paintings and sketches on environment, daily life, people as also on issues encountered in daily life. Some of these pertain to burning issues that affect life and living. Saurabh Pramanik has various subjects that attract him including festivals and festivities. His works have brought him national and international accolades.

Saurabh’s latest creation, ‘Sacred Heart of Jesus’ has been devoted to the celebration of His birth, Christmas. The painting has logged high appreciation on the social media. The young painter explained, “I have depicted the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ in this painting to project it as a symbol of the divine love of Jesus.”

His devotion to painting and the international plaudits he continues to receive made his father, Kiriti Pramanik get him admitted to Srinath University to pursue his course in Bachelor of Fine Arts (B FA). It may be mentioned that Saurabh Pramanik is a Diploma holder in Fine Arts from Tagore School of Arts, Jamshedpur.
