Jamshedpur Administration will be responsible if dispute erupts during Chhath

Jamshedpur: A delegation led by Chandragupta Singh, patron of Surya Mandir Committee, Sidhgora met Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar today. The delegation handed over a letter to the Deputy Commissioner and informed that 400 coupons for Chhath Puja 4000 lamps to be lit on the occasion of Diwali. The delegation said that on 4 November 2020, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy had directed the JNAC office bearers to visit the Chhath Ghat located at Surya Mandir. Making such a misleading statement after the MLA’s visit generates controversy. The patron said that the Deputy Commissioner that if those elements tried to distribute coupons and light the lamp without the direction of the government, then the Mandir Committee will also organise its programme. On the occasion, Ramnarayan Sharma, Ajay Sinha, Sanjeev Acharya, Chandrashekhar Singh were present.
