Jamshedpur administration takes vigorous measure to combat dengue outbreak, Civic bodies continue to collect penalty 

Jamshedpur: In a proactive response to the increasing threat of dengue within the East Singhbhum district, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri has initiated an intensified investigation campaign aimed at curbing the spread of the deadly virus. Municipal bodies across the district have taken stringent measures to combat the dengue menace, with notable actions being reported in recent days.
Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee took swift action. Under the directive of Manjunath Bhajantri, an intensive investigation campaign has been launched in municipal areas across the district. This initiative is marked by its stringent approach towards dengue larva testing and cleanliness standards. In a recent development, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) took decisive action against a Gaushala near Aastha Hitech City, Sonari.
The Gaushala management faced a financial penalty of Rs 20,000 for violations related to the presence of dengue larvae and inadequate cleanliness measures. This enforcement action underscores the district’s commitment to eradicating the breeding grounds for dengue-carrying mosquitoes.
Mango Municipal Corporation implemented rigorous measures Simultaneously, the Mango Municipal Corporation has been at the forefront of the campaign against dengue. During their investigation campaign along Azadnagar Road No. 2, the municipal authorities imposed a total fine of Rs 40,000 on four individuals. These individuals were found to be in breach of dengue prevention protocols, and the fines collected serve as a stern warning to all residents.
In light of these intensified efforts, the district administration fervently appeals to the general public to actively participate in dengue prevention. Residents are urged to maintain cleanliness around their homes and establishments diligently. Preventing water logging in any form is of paramount importance, as stagnant water serves as a breeding ground for dengue-carrying mosquitoes.
