Jamshedpur administration geared up to bust illegal mining and transportation

Jamshedpur, June 12: The East Singhbhum district administration was conducting continuous investigation campaigns against illegal mining and transportation. Task forces had also been formed at all block levels. Check posts had been put up at all district borders and at 11 other places. The district administration was geared up to stop illegal mining and transportation.

The district administration had made a public appeal to inform about any kind of illegal activities in the realms of excavation, stone crusher operation, sand lifting, sand collection and transportation, by contacting the District Deputy Commissioner on mobile phone number 8986606951, SDO Dhalbhum on 9431117832, SDO Ghatshila on 9472737649 and District Transport Officer. Information on such clandestine activities could also be passed on to the additional number 9006411256. The administration had assured that the identity of the informants would be kept confidential.
