Jamshedpur, Sep 5: Jamshedpur administered over 41 thousand doses of Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday, September 5, the highest single-day vaccinations so far.
Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Suraj Kumar as part of the three-day special vaccination campaign, 41898 people were vaccinated against Covid today.
Talking about the success of the campaign, DC said that it is the result of the tireless efforts of all the officials and personnel associated with the vaccination work that today a new record has been set. He said that due to the mutual cooperation of the people of the district, the vaccination campaign is proving to be very successful. A large number of people are coming to get the vaccine. In view of the possible third wave of corona infection, it is necessary that more and more people must take Covid vaccine so that they can keep themselves safe from corona infection.
Earlier on August 30, 29252 people were administered Covid vaccine, 25758 people received jabs on August 29, 22730 on August 24, 22491 people on August 23, and 22337 people were vaccinated on June 25, 2021.
