Jamshedpur, March 21: The third episode of the popular television series Akhada 0 KM, titled ‘The Missing Family,’ was recently aired on DD Jharkhand.
In this episode, Prem Dixit a young theatre artist from Jamshedpur’s Natya Trust (Geeta Theater) played a humorous detective character named “Lakir.” The storyline revolved around the mysterious disappearance of a family from a village, raising intriguing questions and drawing viewers into a suspenseful narrative.
Prem Dixit shared that the show aired every Friday at 8:00 PM on DD Jharkhand. He will appear in the upcoming fourth, fifth, and sixth episodes, for which shooting had nearly been completed.
He described his experience of working alongside renowned Santhali and Jharkhandi artistes such as Dashrath Hansda, Surendra Tudu, and Ganga Rani as highly enriching.
The series has gained popularity for its engaging storytelling and for addressing serious social issues like superstition and witch-hunting, while also entertaining audiences.
