Jamshedpur Accident: Three youths killed in road mishap

Jamshedpur, Feb 17: In a major road mishap, three youths were killed as the bike they were riding hit a stationary container at Baliguma on the NH-33 under MGM police station area late on Thursday night.

A fourth pillion rider was seriously injured and is now struggling for his life at the MGM medical college hospital. Those killed were identified as Manjit Singh, Anish Yadav and Ankit Goswami, all residents of Mango. The injured man has got his left leg broken beside grievous head injury is undergoing treatment at the medical college hospital.

According to police, the four youths were coming from Bhilaipahadi on a bike when the mishap took place. The bike hit the stationary container from behind at Baliguma.

Some local residents rescued them and rushed them to the medical college hospital where the doctor on emergency duty declared three of the victims as brought dead.

According to the police, none of the four had put on a helmet and was probably riding the bike at a breakneck speed.
