Jamshedpur: 54 traders booked for calling Sakchi Market bandh

Jamshedpur, Sep 1: Sakchi police have issued notices to 54 traders of the city under Section 107 and Section 116 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure for calling Sakchi Market bandh on 29th August. It has been said that the accused persons may threaten law and order in the city in future, sources said.

Sources said police investigation has resulted in the lodging of case against the traders. Now proceedings will be taken up against the traders at the SDO court.

The traders had called for bandh after arresting of Sakchi Market jeweler Sandeep Burman following a dispute with a home-guard.
