Jamshedpur: 5 criminals nabbed over loot and firing in Mango, Azadnagar

Jamshedpur, January 23: Police team arrested five criminals for involvement in robbery and firing incident in Mango and Azadnagar areas and recovered two country-made pistols, three cartridges, three mobiles and two scooters that were looted. 
The arrested criminals have been identified as, Wasim Ansari, and Mohammed Shafiq Ali both resident of Kapali OP area of Seraikela-Kharsawan district and Zahid Khan, Mohammed Rashid and Sabeer Ali, all residents of Mango, Jamshedpur. 
All the criminals had been released on bail a few days back after which they committed incidents of robbery and firing In Mango and Azadnagar area. 

Giving information about this, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Singhbhum, Dr M. Tamil Vanan said that on December 13, criminals opened fire in Mango. After this, on January 5, in Azadnagar police station area, a jewelery shopkeeper was attacked and his vehicle was looted. On 15 January, medicine shopowner Haji Khalilul Haq was robbed of mobile and scooty at the point of pistol in Azadnagar police station area. Both the stolen scooters have been recovered. A police team was formed under the leadership of City SP Subhash Chandra Jat, in which Mango, Azadnagar and Ulidih police station in-charge were included.

SSP said that criminal cases are already registered against Wasim Ansari in Chandil, Azadnagar, Bistupur and Mango while Mohammed Shafiq has cases registered in Mango, Bistupur, Chandil and Azadnagar police station, Zahid Khan has cases two cases Mango thana and one case each is registered against Rashid in Bistupur and Mango. Four criminal cases have been registered against Sabeer Ali in Kapali police station of Chandil and two in Azadnagar police station. Most of the cases are related to Arms Act, snatching and theft. A separate FIR has been registered under the Arms Act at Mango police station against five criminals arrested in Mango.
